Working with Chinese Partners
Tailored intercultural workshops
Geographically it is still on the other side of the world, but China has entered our lives in a big way. In the business context this means that many of us today find ourselves working with Chinese partners, whether as suppliers or customers, or as co-workers in our own organisations. The aim of this workshop is to help those of you who are already working, or will work, with China to build and manage fruitful relationships with your Chinese partners. By the end of the workshop you will be better able to:
- understand what motivates the typical Chinese business person
- deploy a range of techniques for effective communication across the culture divide
- put relations with your Chinese partners on a sound footing, avoiding the risk of “false starts”
Workshop leader, Felicia Schwartz. Felicia has pursued an international career in branding, working for global communication agencies Ogilvy and Dentsu. Her work took her from her native Austria to France, the US and eventually to China, where she spent 13 years and specialised in strategic planning and consumer insights.
The workshop is held in English. Click here for more information about the workshop content and leader.
